I live and create in the beautiful Texas hill country. I am a mom and share my home with many spoiled pets. My day job as a preschool teacher keeps me busy so my portrait schedule is limited. Summer bookings have begun.
In 2020, I purchased several kits and got hooked on a new hobby. After finding an amazing online instructor, my artwork took a new and spectacular direction. December 2022, I opened my business and began offering my needle felted Pet Portraits to the public.
Through online classes and experimentation I developed my own personal style. My Pet Portraits are a artistic blend of creative vision and the pet owner personal photos. Needle Felting requires specialized tools, wool and other natural fibers and a base fabric; resulting in a unique soft fuzzy and whimsical or realistic image.
I am a member of the SMAL.
I am a Fiber Artist, Certified Zentangle (TM)Teacher(3) and Certified LCIA Life Coach. I love to play with many different art mediums and offer workshops in the following:
--Fiber Art - 2d and 3d sculpture needle felting. I have templates and kits.—Acrylic painting - I own a large assortment of Social Artworking (TM) patterns. 2 sizes to chose from to paint. These patterns are applicable to 2d Needle Felting pictures as well.--Zentangle - As a CZT, I will guide students thru the calming techniques of drawing repetitive patterns.I encourage my student to learn the basics then ‘Make it your own’. I offer private and small group workshops (5 students preferred/10 maximum). I provide all the workshop supplies and upon request can offer additional supplies to purchase. Project completion times vary 2-6 hours. More info upon request.MY SCHEDULE
